The day started at the SOFO Park in the city of Temuco, in the capital of the Araucanía Region. There the new Peugeot Landtrek was presented, as also the Connecting the Americas expedition, and the attendees did test drives on the different versions of the new Peugeot Landtrek.
In the tests, the dexterity of the pickup trucks was demonstrated in wet terrain, where their height and tires were very important to enter muddy pits and get out of them without problem, in addition to the 4×4 high and 4×4 low modalities.
We continued the journey to the South of Chile to reach the Huilo Huilo Reserve, that in Mapudungún means “Place of many coligües” and which houses a biosphere of Temperate Rainforests of the Austral Andes in the commune of Panguipulli, Los Ríos Region.
On this day of travel, the 210 HP turbo engine stood out, and its 320 NM torque, which gave us all the power that was needed for the trip.
Upon arriving in Huilo Huilo, we were delighted and very expectant to start the last day of the journey in Chile.
