Today is Saturday, but no rest for us here in Mexico. We woke up early and our first stop was at the Peugeot Etoile dealership, here in Puebla, where we met with the sales team, we picked up our three PEUGEOT LANDTREK that spent the night there.
Then, we went to a prime area of the beautiful city of Puebla – the fourth largest city and one of the oldest in Mexico, where a 4×4 track was set up especially for a test drive with local customers to test the off-road capabilities of the new PEUGEOT, under COVID-19 security and distancing protocols.
In our team, we have technical instructors who first check the entire demonstration route, to ensure everyone’s safety. While we were checking the 4×4 track, a local radio was broadcasting the event.
Our friend and car influencer Franky Mostro (@frankymostro) also put his new PEUGEOT LANDTREK to the test, on the 4×4 track, going through all the obstacles and having a lot of fun, in addition to generating a lot of content for his social networks.
Franky praised the off-road capability of the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK, proving that the pickup is really adapted to withstand the conditions of any road with its 4×4 drive, as it easily passed through all obstacles.
It is worth remembering that we were able to test many technological resources of the PEUGEOT LANDTREK that provide a lot of safety when driving. Such as the Hill Descent Control (hill descent and start-up assistant) – a system that allows to keep the vehicle at a very low speed and to focus only in the direction, providing control and security to stressful situations. And the rear differential lock.
One of our instructors, Bernardo, did the test-drive with a local radio team on board in one of our PEUGEOT LANDTREK and they shared, in a live broadcast, the entire route with their followers on social networks. Thus, even those who were at home could feel the experience of being inside a PEUGEOT LANDTREK in a 4×4 terrain!
We spent the whole day demonstrating the qualities of the new Peugeot pick-up and we just took a short break for a quick snack. The test-drive was a great success and several customers were very excited to close the Landtrek acquisition order. Even one, who had already ordered a 4×2 model, fell in love with performance in adverse conditions and switched to a 4×4 model.
At the end of the day, we had a typical Mexican dinner and it was time for a well-deserved rest. Tomorrow we will go to the highest point of the expedition, the base of the Popocatépetl volcano, the second most active volcano in the world, which is constantly active.
Our expectation is great!
