We continued our trip through Mexico and yesterday we arrived in Monterrey, a very peculiar city. Nestled in a valley with mountains that exceed 3,000 meters of altitude on both sides, the city stretches for many kilometers, always accompanied by a dry riverbed in the center, where the waters appear only at the time of the mountains melting.
Its center is very modern, with geometric and tall buildings, a lot of glass and steel with beautiful landscaping. We liked a lot. And people, as in all parts of Mexico, are very hospitable.
The day for the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK started with a visit to the Peugeot Garza Surman dealership and from there we followed a highway to a beautiful farm where some customers were waiting for us to meet and test the new Peugeot pickup.
The test-drive took place on two circuits. We used the off- road attributes of the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK, such as the automatic descent control and the rear differential lock, as in some parts the ground was very loose.
The pick-up trucks had an excellent performance in the off-road test-drive on the farm, impressing everyone!
Again, the 360 degree camera was one of the highlights. But another point that was very much appreciated was the level of internal noise, where even in parts with a lot of loose stone, nothing is heard inside the car, beyond of course, all its comfort.
The PEUGEOT LANDTREK is really robust inside and outside.
And so, we went on until late afternoon.
It is a very pleasant experience to be able to show the new PEUGEOT LANDTREK to such a receptive audience.
And we keep going. Tomorrow towards San Luis Potosí.
