We begun this new day of expedition from Viña del Mar to Santiago, the capital of Chile. On the way, we stopped at Viña Veramonte in the Casablanca Valley. This is characterized by its 100% organic wine production and its 300 hectares of grape plantations. There, we tested the load capacity of the Peugeot Landtrek pickup, supporting up to 1 ton of oak wine barrels.
After this great stop we headed to Santiago, where the pickups had an excellent performance, making the trip very comfortable, even in places with a lot of traffic. We started in the downtown area of the capital, visiting monuments such as La Moneda, The Palace of Justice and Plaza de Armas, called “km 0”, since the construction of the city that began in 1541.
Then we went to Santiago Oriente, popularly known as “Sanhattan” for its large number of offices and shops. Our last stop of the day was the Peugeot dealership in the Huechuraba district, here the pilots delivered the trucks to the technical team so that they would be in perfect condition to start the route to the south of Chile.
