Final day of our journey through Uruguay, we close the trip in a big way, in one of the most recognized cities in the country.

Punta del Este is one of the most exclusive resorts in Latin America and the most important in Uruguay.

It has been gaining a lot of popularity in recent years and has become the second most important tourist destination in the country thanks to its incredible beaches.

Speaking of beaches, its beaches are divided into “Mansa” on the west side (calmer waters) and “Brava” on the east side (waters with higher waves). Of course, we covered both from end to end, taking advantage of the off road functions, switching to 4×4 mode in our Landtreks. Along the way we come across La Mano, the famous sculpture of Punta del Este, impossible not to take a photo, or in our case, several.

We finished the trip at the renowned Jose Ignacio Lighthouse, admiring the starry night of Punta del Este and remembering anecdotes from the trip. After 4 intense days, with 1,200 km traveled, we have been surprised by the people and their expectations of the Peugeot Landtrek.

We hope you enjoyed this chapter of Connecting the Americas as much as we did.

Thank you for joining us, we look forward to seeing you on the next journey.
